Tata Motors is launching the iconic Sumo Gold for 2025, which would now be a mix of ruggedness and modernity. The new avatar is meant to serve both urban families and rural consumers looking for a trustworthy and spacious SUV.
Design and Exterior
It carries the boxy shape typical of the Sumo Gold but now incorporates some modern design features. Upfront, there’s a bold grille, bright LED headlights, sculpted body lines, refreshing its overall appearance. The SUV is available in crisp colors such as Urban Bronze, Pearl White, and Fiery Red, catering to all.([Jobaaj Stories][1])
Interior and Comfort
The interior of the Sumo Gold is spacious, with up to nine passengers seated inside. The soft-touch dashboard materials complement the 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, which is Android Auto and Apple CarPlay-ready. Additional comfort includes automatic climate control, ample storage spaces, and a digital instrument cluster, creating an overall better experience while driving.([Jobaaj Stories][1]).
Engine Performance and Commuting Efficiency
This SUV relies on a 2.2-liter 4-cylinder diesel engine producing 120 bhp and 250 Nm of torque. The engine is available with a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission. Another option could be a 1.5-liter 3-cylinder diesel engine with a capacity of delivering 85 bhp and a torque of 180 Nm.
